영국 배우. 가수 및 뮤지션.
프로더로는 12살 때부터 교회 합창단원으로 활동하였고, 피아노 레슨도 같은 시기에 받았다. 클리프 리차드와 섀도우의 음악을 들으면서 그는 기타를 배우기 시작하였고, 1961년 아마추어 씨어터 그룹으로 스튜디오 씨어터라고 불리는 록밴드의 리드 싱어가 된다.

록밴드의 콘서트를 가졌으며, 동시에 그는 배우로서 무대에 서는 것도 시작하였다. 1973년 연극 <Death on Demand>에 팝싱어 역으로 출연하였다. 그는 꾸준히 싱글앨범 등을 내고 있다. 1976년 락 뮤지컬 <Leave Him to Heaven>에 출연하였고, 2002년 <Pericles, Prince og Tyre>에도 출연하였다.

1997넌 3장의 컴플레이션 음반을 내었고, 2006년 <Pinball and Other Stories> 앨범을 내었다.

TV로는 <Reilly>, <Ace of Spies>, <Gentlemen and Players>, <Lovejoy>, <55 Degrees North>, <North and South>, <Holby City>, <Love Soup>, <Midsomer Murders>, <Spooks> 등에 출연하였다.

2007년 뮤지컬 <The Lord of the Rings>에 사루만 역으로 출연하였다.
